Three hundred and sixty five days

My son turned one on the 28th of November 2014, I cant believe it. 

It feels so unreal. I am a mother of a one year old little boy. My BabyCentre App stopped as well. They congratulated me for "making it through a whole year of droopy diapers and slobbery smiles". But I miss reading all the information it gave me.

I don't think i will ever forget his first year of life. All his "Firsts" . But i can't wait to see him grow up as well. 

I baked him a Smash cake too! Next post will be the Smash cake recipe :)

Recipe: Apple, Pear and banana puree

I decided to give my son a treat by making a fruit puree instead of his usual vegetable ones.

It consisted of: 2 apples, 1 pear and 1 small banana, cinnamon and water. 

Eid Mubarak

On Monday, 28th July we celebrated Eid. It was such a beautiful day, after many days of rain, Alhamdulillah.

We did not take many pictures because obviously on this particular day we did not charge any of our mobiles. So the photos i have are from friends and family!

This was a very special Eid for me. It was the first Eid I got to celebrate with my son and husband of course.

Baby Food: Store Bought or Homemade?

I thought a lot about this topic on buying food or making my own. I felt that people would judge me if they saw me feeding my baby some apple and pear dessert from a store bought jar of baby food. 

But then i felt that people would judge me if they saw me making home made baby food and freezing it.
